2015 Honda Foreman 500 Top Speed

hi, just wondering what everyone is getting for top end on their '15 foreman my '13 goes 57 mph but im only getting around 50 mph on the 2015 :frown2: kinda disappointing really

well Honda's are NOT known for top end speed, if you were looking for speed, hate to say it, a HONDA utility atv was the wrong atv to buy

never said i was looking for speed, and i know honda about as well as any other average man I have owned them for 20-25 yrs I just asked what others are getting with their 15's and as i said i was just disappointed that honda would go backwards in the speed department

well I offered the above just cause I DON"T Know what you know about Honda's
and I don't own a 2015 so, cannot say what top speed is??
BUT< I hear you, b to be honest however,
over the yrs Honda has been in the same ball park on speeds, they target more the farmers than trail riders
there getting better, towards the trail rider end of things, but there far off other makes IMO
Back to top speed, if your using the OEM spedo to get speeds, odds are that;s wrong too
OST all makers add in a little cheat factor, best bet is a GPS to get a closer to true reading

i have rode the 2014 foreman 500 and have never needed to do 50-55mph .....i don't get it ...bash me IDGAF but this is why ATVs get a bad name because some asshat gets killed doing 50mph .....

The 2014 has a speedo discrepancy that shows it being 5-9 mph faster than it is actually going. I'm guessing they fixed that for the 2015 foreman

My 2015 Foreman does 55 mph....Then it spits and sputters as though a Governor kicks it....So that brings me to this question....These machines are Governed???
